2017 sees Chichester City Band celebrate its 120th birthday, and we are still growing, with three separate ensembles now meeting every week. A fantastic ten-piece band dedicated to the Quiet Beatle’s work. George Harrison wrote some of The Beatles’ most beautiful songs (Something, Here Comes The Sun etc), but he continued to write great music during his solo career (My Sweet Lord…) on 12 studio albums. The band will be joined on stage by a very special guest on ukulele: Sam Brown. A real treat, not just for Beatles fans! Tickets £13; concessions £12. Disabled access.

The legendary Georgie Fame tops the bill on opening night of the festival featuring The Soul of Santana, Nic Saunders trio and La Havana Jazz cafe in the music marquee, with world-famous harmonica star Johnny Mars, young Chichester jazzers and the brilliant Deborah Bonham Band featuring Chris Farlowe.
