SUSSEX DAY FETE, ORGANISED BY CONNECTING SOUTHBOURNE, ST JOHN’S CHURCH, MAIN ROAD, SOUTHBOURNE, PO10 8LB.

A family village fete with various local groups having fundraising stalls. Games, teas, ride on train, entertained by J’Uke-Box Ukulele Show Band. Stalls to pay £10 to our War Memorial Fund. We are fundraising for individually-engraved stones around our existing memorial for the 68 men in WWI and 20 in WWII who gave their lives in the service of our country. Admission free. Disabled access.

SUMMER CELEBRATION ON CENTURION WAY, FRIENDS OF CENTURION WAY, CENTURION WAY, CHICHESTER, NEAR TO BISHOP LUFFA SCHOOL – GRID REF: SU 847 047.

Join us for a summer celebration on Centurion Way. There will be a summer-themed quiz, games, races and chalks for children and adults to decorate the path and celebrate its heritage and wildlife. Meet at the railway bridge, southern end of Centurion Way at 2pm. Admission free. Disabled access.

NATIONAL MEADOWS DAY AT NEW PARK CENTRE AND OTHER GREEN SPACES IN CHICHESTER, TRANSITION CHICHESTER AND NEW PARK CENTRE, AT NEW PARK CENTRE, NEW PARK ROAD, CHICHESTER. PO19 7XY.

Celebrate National Meadows Day. Enjoy the wildflower bank at New Park, learn more about wildflowers and pollinators, buy native seeds and plants, take a walk to see other small projects making Chichester’s green spaces more wildlife friendly.
