Susie Monnington, a locally born artist, will be presenting some works from the landscape. Her work evolves from speedy, intuitive drawings made on canoe expeditions, walks on the Downs and various Hebridean cycling adventures as well as trips around the Sussex coast working in acrylics and mixed media texture. A selection of sculpture by Vincent Gray including new works and some old favourites. Vincent is enjoying a good deal of success at present with the John Keats, Maurice Patten and Nelson and Murray Sculpture being enjoyed by all in Chichester. THE NAME OF THE ROSE – AN EXHIBITION BY DIANA SMITH,CHICHESTER LIBRARY, TOWER STREET, CHICHESTER, PO19 1QJ.

Inspired by heritage roses in the rose gardens of Mottisfont, Elmwood and Nymans, Diana presents an exhibition of paintings of classic roses with evocative names. Diana’s exhibitions have included Bosham, Bedford, Arundel, Bognor Regis and Chichester. Free entry. Disabled access.

Dancingpots’ hand-thrown contemporary ceramics inspired by dance, India and life.Vidya’s work in ceramics is informed by the classical Indian dancer in her. The artist Ben Nicholson spent his career transforming every-day objects into extraordinary abstract works of art. This exhibition brings together for the first time Nicholson’s artworks alongside his rarely seen personal possessions and studio tools.
