A wonderful sextet of quality musicians brought together to mark the CJC’s 30th anniversary! Judith is a forensic pathologist, saxophonist and author, and produced and played on the critically acclaimed Abstract Truth Big Band recording made at the famous Abbey Road Studio in 2015.

American Allison Neale’s beautifully crafted lines evoke the spirit of Paul Desmond and Art Pepper with whom she has an affinity. A strong advocate of the melodic West Coast style she has performed alongside leading international artists Adelaide Hall, Bud Shank and tenorist Scott Hamilton.

Japanese vocalist and pianist Eriko Ishihara has built a reputation for her Diana Krall-style vocals, matched to a mature piano style, while Marianne Windham is the driving force behind Guildford and Fleet Jazz Clubs where she has performed with such notable names as Alan Barnes, Dave O’Higgins and Karen Sharp.

Saxophonist and rising star of UK jazz Hannah Horton released her brand new album ‘Inside Out’ on September 22nd to a full house at the intimate 606 Jazz Club. Hannah has produced a carefully curated selection of her own compositions alongside several iconic songs that she holds close to her heart resulting in the perfect balance between exciting new music and timeless classics.

Migdalia van der Hoven is a Mexican drummer and RTOM Corporation/Bosphorus artist living in the UK. She is a Berklee College of Music graduate (where she studied and performed with Jackie Santos, Terri Lynn Carrington, Victor Mendoza and Mark Walker). She is known for her groove, sensitivity and versatility across multiple genres such as funk, jazz, fusion, Latin jazz, pop and world music.
