Event M39: Summer Serenade

An evening of beautiful choral music from different times and genres, featuring not one, but two chamber choirs from Hampshire, directed by two Louises!

CompACT, is the chamber choir of AChoired Taste, a 100-strong community choir from Horndean. They regularly perform at weddings and other celebrations and concerts. The choir’s aim is to celebrate the gift of music and the joy it can bring. CompACT is directed by Lou Bundy.

Emsworth’s Meridian Singers is part of Sussex-based Meridian Music with members from the Chichester area. Their aim is to have fun and enjoy making music together while developing vocal skills and confidence. Earlier in the year, they performed in a concert at Ede’s House, celebrating its restoration. Their Choir Director is Louise Russell.
