Historical fiction writer Gill Thompson completed an M.A in Creative Writing at Chichester University. Her latest novel, ‘The Child on Platform One,’ about a little girl on the Kindertransport, was a USA Today bestseller and has been translated into nine languages. Gill is also a teacher at Godalming College.
In her illustrated talk, Gill will describe the research she undertook for her own novels, as well as giving helpful advice for prospective writers on how best to conduct and integrate their own research. This should be a practical and useful session with the opportunity to ask questions.
