Tesoro, a local tenor/soprano classical crossover duo, is coming to the Chichester Assembly Rooms this June with a wealth of music from the world of contemporary classical, opera, musical theatre and film, including La Traviata, Gianni Schicchi, Turandot, Les Miserables, West Side Story, Phantom of the Opera and other works. An evening not to be missed.

Tesoro is a term of endearment, meaning treasure, comprising Simon Long (tenor) and Karen Barnett (soprano) with over 40 years of performing experience between them.

Karen and Simon have performed individually around the world, performing at prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and London’s O2 Arena. A couple of years ago they came together as a duo and have put together a fantastic programme of music. Their performances include songs and arias from the likes of Andrea Bocelli, Katherine Jenkins, Pavarotti, Sarah Brightman, Mario Lanza and Maria Calas, plus many more songs from the world of opera, musicals and film.
