DESCRIPTION:Step into the vibrant world of David McKee’s much-loved picture books at ‘Elmer and Friends: The Colourful World of David McKee’ at The Novium Museum throughout the Festival of Chichester and from 18th April to 13th September. \nThis exhibition – brought to you by Seven Stories\, the UK’s National Centre for Children’s Books – brings the late author and illustrator’s family favourites to life with original illustrations and multi-sensory\, interactive displays. \nWith Elmer at the centre\, the exhibition features characters from more of McKee’s best-known stories\, including Not Now\, Bernard\, King Rollo and Mr Benn. \nIdeal for families\, but there’s plenty for grown-ups to enjoy too\, thanks to the intergenerational appeal of McKee’s books.
