DESCRIPTION:Zoe Barnett\, rising star of the classical guitar\, presents a solo recital for a midsummer evening\, including works by English composers Dowland and Walton plus folk-inspired repertoire from around the world\, highlighting the expressive range of the guitar in the city’s Assembly Room. \nZoe\, from Chichester\, is a graduate of the Royal College of Music and gave a very successful recital for the Festival of Chichester in 2024. Known for her captivating performances as a guitarist who plays standing up\, she has played at venues such as King’s Place and Wigmore Hall and has circumnavigated the world as a cruise ship performer.
