Event M04: Singing in The Bishop’s Garden

A celebration of community choral singing.

Chichester is home to a number of community choirs which offer a wide variety of musical genres – traditional and modern folk, musical theatre, the great American songbook, original songs, classical, church music, gospel, jazz, pop and everything in between.

At this annual event some of these choirs assemble in The Bishop’s Palace Gardens and spend a joyous afternoon sharing their favourite songs, singing together and inviting anyone present to join in!

The setting is stunning and the singing comes from the heart – it’s a great way to spend a Sunny Afternoon (now there’s a song!)

Come along (it’s free), bring your folding chair and enjoy listening to the community choirs of Chichester. It’s a beautiful event. Oh – and be prepared to sing!
