Event SW13: Heard But Not Seen

A talk by author, Michelle Magorian based on two of her best-selling books. From the romance and suspense of A Little Love Song (1991), set during the long, hot summer of 1943, to the drama and mystery of Just Henry (2008). Just Henry set in the years immediately post Second World War in the thinly disguised town of Stermsea; a fictional mix of Portsmouth and Southsea and made into a film for television in 2011. Michelle Magorian is best known for her second novel, Goodnight Mister Tom which won the 1982 Guardian Prize for British Children’s Books.
