Accompany Chichester Tree Wardens on a walk through Jubilee Gardens to enjoy and learn about its trees. Meet at Friends Meeting House, Priory Road and return there for refreshments and conversation. Approx. 1 hour walk, plus social. Sponsored by Chichester Quakers.
Chichester Tree Wardens are volunteers with the national Tree Warden Scheme to promote, protect and plant trees. Our Explore events aim to share our love of trees by looking at which trees are growing where, why they might be there, how they’ve grown, and what they’re doing.
Jubilee Gardens is just outside the City Walls a few steps away from our sponsors for this event, Chichester Quakers at the Friends Meeting House. Our walk is accessible for all (there may be some soft ground).
Please join us for a walk in Jubilee Gardens where its trees, and associated wildlife, will take centre stage, and afterwards, if you wish, at FMH for conversation, hot/soft drinks and nibbles. We anticipate returning to FMH circa 7.15pm. www.treesinchi.org/diary
The 2025 festival will run from Saturday 14 June to Sunday 20 July.
