Local artist and volunteer Chichester Tree Warden, Fiona Bell Currie, invites you to enjoy painting or drawing inspired by the trees surrounding Chichester Festival Theatre in Oaklands Park. Discover quick ways of rendering trees, be encouraged to consider shapes and proportion and explore the power of composition. Please bring your own art materials and a stool. Suitable for adults.
Booking required through Festival of Chichester Box Office at the Novium Museum.
Everyone is welcome to drop in to see other Chichester Tree Wardens alongside this event. Come share our love of trees, gain information through short informal walks in the vicinity, including the Community Orchard, looking at which trees are growing where, why they might be there, how they’ve grown, and what they’re doing.
Chichester Tree Wardens are volunteers with the national Tree Warden Scheme to promote, protect and plant trees.
Fiona Bell Currie is a practising artist and teacher.
