Event K4: CBF Fundraiser: Draw-Off with Sophy Henn and Nadia Shireen

Come and watch the marvellous Sophy Henn and Nadia Shireen go head to head in this family-friendly DRAW-OFF! And why not join in? We’ll provide paper and pens and will be asking for audience suggestions to challenge our scribbling superstars on the stage.

Tickets £10. Books will be on sale at the venue and the authors will be signing copies after the event. Kindly supported by The Prebendal School, all proceeds to the Children’s BookFest charity.

There are four events in the children’s section of the festival (K1, K2, K4, K5), along with the Rev. Richard Coles event (SW25), which are curated by the wonderful folks at Children’s BookFest. CBF is a charity dedicated to putting books into the hands of children, authors into their schools and a love of reading into their hearts.

Since 2019 CBF has given almost 28,000 brand new books to local children via signature BookFests, Outreach initiatives and regular donations to FoodBanks. 1 in 8 children eligible for free school meals do not own a book, so there’s a long way to go, and each year 100% of funds need to be raised to continue this great work.

CBF events not only offer you and your children some great entertainment: all proceeds from these events will go towards CBF’s tough funding target, so please buy a ticket and share the book-love!
