Arun & Chichester Air Enthusiasts Society presents a Talk by Duncan Dean, former RAF fighter pilot, about the BAE Systems Hawk covering the design, development, and operation of the last all-British built military aircraft. He will take you to the cockpit and explain how this little ‘sportscar’ feels to fly!

Duncan will explain the attributes that have made the Hawk such a special, successful, and iconic training platform.  He will show how the Hawk is used to teach the next generation of fighter pilots, giving them the skills and techniques that prepare them to become lethal operators of today’s complex frontline fighters.  Finally, he will examine the future for the Hawk in the rapidly changing world of military training.  Duncan’s presentation will be concluded with a short Q&A.
