Brian J Burton’s adaptation of an oft-parodied 19th-century temperance play gets the Pergola treatment. Lots of rollicking fun for a summer evening in the open air setting of West Dean Gardens.
Arrive from 5.30pm if you want to picnic before the show. The gardens’ cafe will also stay open: see westdean.ac.uk/gardens.
