Event WT10: EXPLORE TREES WITH CHICHESTER TREE WARDENS, IN PRIORY PARK

Accompany Chichester Tree Wardens on a walk in Priory Park to enjoy and learn about its trees. Meet at Friends Meeting House, Priory Road, PO19 1NX, and return there for refreshments and conversation. Approx one-hour walk, plus social. Sponsored by Chichester Quakers.

Chichester Tree Wardens are volunteers with the national Tree Warden Scheme to promote, protect and plant trees. Our events aim to share our love of trees by looking at which trees are growing where, why they might be there, how they’ve grown, and what they’re doing.

Priory Park is just a few steps away from our sponsors for this event, Chichester Quakers at the Friends Meeting House, and the park itself is accessible for all (no dogs allowed). Please join us for a walk in the park where its trees, and associated wildlife, will take centre stage, and afterwards, if you wish, at FMH for conversation, hot/soft drinks and nibbles. Our route includes one ascent to enjoy the tree canopy from the City Walls and we anticipate returning to FMH circa 7.15pm. Cash donations welcome.

Free (booking advised), cash donations welcome.
