We are searching for two volunteers for grant applications and social media support

We are looking for two people with energy and fresh ideas who can join our committee and help us in two important areas.

Grant applications: We are looking for someone who will take on our search for funding. We have an excellent relationship with Chichester City Council to whom we apply for a grant every year. We are also looking to investigate other ways to bring in funding.

We are looking for someone who can work well with our team and has the eye for the detail that assembling a festival and dealing with funding applications requires. Clearly, relevant experience would be an advantage, though not essential.

This voluntary role has now been filled.

Social media assistant: We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to assist in all elements of the Festival of Chichester’s social media. This role will include the admin side of social media. You will be assisting our social media officer who will head the creative elements. As our assistant you will also have the opportunity to show your own creative flair too, working as a team. You will monitor each channel and reply to relevant comments and schedule content to keep the channels active. This includes daily content in the 2022 festival itself and weekly content in the run-up to the festival.

Essential knowledge and skills: the ability to compose posts and scheduling for Facebook, Instagram and Twitter; YouTube knowledge, including channel management. Desirable knowledge and skills: Photoshop or equivalent; Final Cut Pro or equivalent; photography and/or videographer

This voluntary role has now been filled.
