Event C01: Elmer and Friends: The Colourful World of David McKee

Step into the vibrant world of David McKee’s much-loved picture books at ‘Elmer and Friends: The Colourful World of David McKee’ at The Novium Museum throughout the Festival of Chichester and from 18th April to 13th September.

This exhibition – brought to you by Seven Stories, the UK’s National Centre for Children’s Books – brings the late author and illustrator’s family favourites to life with original illustrations and multi-sensory, interactive displays.

With Elmer at the centre, the exhibition features characters from more of McKee’s best-known stories, including Not Now, Bernard, King Rollo and Mr Benn.

Ideal for families, but there’s plenty for grown-ups to enjoy too, thanks to the intergenerational appeal of McKee’s books.
