The entry window for Festival of Chichester 2025 is now open! The festival will run from Saturday 14 June to Sunday 20 July. We invite you to prepare your application(s) and to submit entries by Friday 31 January using our online entry system.
Start with our Take Part page. That should give you all the information you need about the application process. However, to make the recently revamped procedure as painless as possible we’d strongly suggest that you also read through our ‘how to’ document and watch our help video before you start the submission form as it explains what to prepare and why we ask for the various pieces of information we require.
Shortly after you have submitted the form(s), we will confirm that your proposed event (s) has/have been accepted into the 2025 programme. If you encounter a problem please contact support@festivalofchichester.co.uk.
Please note:
- Fees. The application fee for a single event entry form is £24. For an event that occurs more than once the fee is £37 regardless of how many times it recurs. The fee is the same irrespective of whether the event is free, paid-for, or whether it’s in-person or online. With our new application procedure, you’ll need to pay the application fee before you enter the details onto our system. The payment will require a debit or credit card. If your organisation doesn’t have access to a credit card please contact support@festivalofchichester.co.uk.
- Choosing a date. We are particularly keen to avoid any clashes of similar events being put on at the same approximate time slot (e.g. two classical concerts on any given lunchtime or evening; a jazz concert against a classical concert would not constitute a clash as it’s in a different genre). By ‘slots’ we mean: morning / lunchtime / afternoon / evening rather than precise times. If a potential clash appears likely, we will try to discuss with you possible rescheduling options to help all involved.
Significant known dates will be shown on a new provisional calendar of events which will be slowly filled in as we receive applications. Feel free to send us provisional dates for your event BEFORE your application and we will pencil your event into the calendar to help others in their planning. We will launch this calendar soon.
Please do not organise an event which clashes with the Festival Launch/Trinity Sunday events, on the afternoon of Sunday 15 June on Cathedral Green. - Use of our logo. Also please remember to use the festival logo and to credit the festival in all your publicity. Working cooperatively together is our shared aim and a win-win for all involved so we hope that participants will also share information about the wider Festival with their members/contacts much as we will share information about your event(s).
- Advertising. We encourage you to consider advertising in our brochure and on our website. As an event organiser, this will generate additional footfall to your event.
