Festival of Chichester 2024: forward dates

Whether or not you are taking part in this year’s festival, we are writing to update you on this year’s progress and to confirm some dates.

Event registrations

Thank you to 2024 event organisers for sending in your event details. We are currently busy preparing our brochure and website. The festival will comprise an exciting range of around 90 events, including art exhibitions, music, spoken word, theatre, community events and tours.

Box Office Launch

A ‘Box Office Launch’ is planned at The Novium, Tower St, Chichester on Thursday 4 April at 6pm. This will be a simple opportunity for our 2024 organisers and sponsors to meet each other and get a first glimpse of (and copies of) the printed brochure.

Starting the next day at 9am, the festival events will be published online and the distribution of brochures will begin. We would welcome more volunteers to assist with the distribution process. Please contact us if you’re interested in helping.

Festival Launch

Our twelfth festival will start on Saturday 15 June with a launch event on Cathedral Green from 11am to 2pm (please note the changed time). The festival will run until Sunday 21 July.

Advertising in the festival brochure – a reminder

Thank you to all those who’ve already placed advertising.

Each registered event receives a standard image and 50-word description in our beautifully produced, full-colour festival brochure (click here to see a file copy of last year’s brochure). However, we also accept a limited amount of advertising which could help ensure that your event or venue really gets noticed and stands out from the other events on offer.

Please see our Support Us page for further details, including our Sponsorship and Advertising Pack. If you would like to know more, or to book an advert, please contact Livvy Stevens on festivalchichesteradvertising@gmail.com. The deadline for art-submission for advertisements has been pushed back a few days and is now Friday 23 February. First come, first served.
